Goldfish Memory plot
Goldfish only remember 3 seconds of their lives, when they reach the end of the bowl and swim back, everything is new to them. This is metaphorical for the characters in Goldfish Memory. They behave the same, totally forgetting what went wrong in their old relationship as soon as they start a new one. The film follows a dozen characters, meeting each other, their crushes, breaking up relationships and then meeting new people again. Tom, an English professor at the University of Dublin, cheats on Clara with the student Isolde. When Clara notices this, it starts a chain reaction of romances and heartbreaking relationships until the whole circle is round again. Clara responds to the advances of Angie, a lesbian television reporter. In the meantime, bartender David cheats on his girlfriend with Angie's best friend and Tom relapses into his old mistakes.
