Gloves Off plot

After the sudden death of his boxing trainer, Doug inherits a highly indebted English gym and a mixed group of aspiring fighters. When a gypsy asks to train her bumbling giant brother, Doug reluctantly agrees. It concerns a boxing match with bare fists against the still undefeated and also monstrous 'Gypsy King'. With a cash prize of £100,000 for the winner, Doug and his gang of underdogs head north on a road trip to the Appleby Horse Fair.
