Fûzen no Tomoshibi plot
Yuriko Sato has a typically hectic day. Her son Kazuo is not at school and has a fever. Her mother-in-law Tetsu whines as usual and again shows that the house they live in is hers. Her shoe salesman husband Kaneshige returns from work with the news that they have won camera v worth 50,000 yen, something they are anxiously trying to hide from Tetsu. Numerous people stop by to disturb them, much to the chagrin of three crooks who hope to rob the residents of the house.
