Frühling in Baden-Baden plot

Baden-Baden in 1906. Baron Arvid von Frühling meets his bride in the fashionable spa town. The greatest ambition of the baron is to win the horse race, the Grand Prix Baden-Baden, in which he participates with his racehorse. But due to the preparations for the competition, he neglects his fiancée, which slowly ends up in the clutches of bestselling author and local Casanova, Victor Duplessis. When Arvid learns of Victor's advances, he challenges the latter to a pistol duel.
