Foster plot
"A feel good family fairy-tale"
Zooey and Alec Morrison are a married couple struggling to close the painful rift that has grown between them. With Zooy failing to conceive, the Morrisons await confirmation that they are eligible to adopt a child. One day a seven-year-old boy calls himself Eli and tells him that the adoption agency sent him. Wise for his age, the boy turns out to be the sympathetic ear for their marital problems. The boy gives moral support and suggestions to his foster parents and they find the love they once had for each other. Then it turns out that Zooey is pregnant after all.
