After the death of her husband, Wendy goes through a difficult period. Trying to adjust to her new life as a single, she runs a successful wedding planning business with her friend Roseanne. Things get complicated when the charming but incredibly annoying Marco opens his divorce law firm in the adjacent building. Despite trying hard to promote her cause, Wendy is forced to form an alliance with Marco when her son Collin announces his unexpected engagement to Marco's daughter Sophia.
