Fast and Loose plot

Peter and Barbara are a young and married couple. They are traveling by train to friends to spend the weekend there. When Peter gets off the bus during a stop to buy a newspaper, the train continues with Barbara. He has met an old friend, Carol, at the station and then brings her back home. If they have car trouble, they have no choice but to spend the night together in a nearby hotel.
