Emerald Cities plot
In the 1980s, a young woman runs away from her home in the small desert town of Death Valley to seek her happiness elsewhere. Her drunken father, still in his local Santa Claus suit, heads to the big city to find his lost daughter. Many aspects are linked to that simple intention: fear of the Cold War, urban encroachment and magic mushroom sandwiches.
