Spain 1959, Franco is still in power in Spain and the radio is in the center of the house. Nine-year-old Pablito sees a beautiful pedal car in the shop window and decides he wants it. His middle-class family is not always lucky and suffers from the bourgeois pretensions of the other relatives who are just that little bit better off. To get his pedal car, Pablito must use all his imagination and resist the intrigue within his family.
