Ein Schweizer Namens Nötzli plot

The accountant Josef Nötzli has been working in a chemical factory in Berlin for 26 years. Due to a misunderstanding, he suddenly makes someone else's career. Finally he can put his secret concepts and concepts into action. With his ideas he now controls the business and that ensures that the financially ailing company soon becomes profitable again, which in turn brings him new friends. Suddenly his high flight comes to an abrupt end. The mysterious misunderstanding comes true and Nötzli is charged with deliberate fraudulent acquisition of his position. Together with his colleague Neubauer, he ends up in the accounting department again. Now they have no reason to stay in the firm. He leaves the chemical factory with his friend Neubauer. But is this goodbye really final...?
