After many sleepless nights, Jan and Anne Börner decide to buy a house in the green belt around the city. Unfortunately, they didn't realize that this would give them neighbors who, solicited or unsolicited, would shower them with good advice about separated waste, parking in the street, raising the children or overwhelming the view from the front yard. The fact that the neighbor is actually Jan's previous lover doesn't really help to defuse the situation...
