Drôle de Drame ou L'Étrange Aventure de Docteur Molyneux plot
England, circa 1900. Irwin Molyneux is a quiet botanist, who secretly writes scary thrillers. His cousin Archibald, a bishop, is a strong opponent of those scary thrillers, especially the popular author Felix Chapel, Molyneux's alter ego. On the day Archibald invites himself to dinner at the Molyneux home, the cook and butler unexpectedly resign. Irwin's wife then takes it upon herself to secretly prepare the meal. Irwin makes up an excuse for his wife's absence, but the bishop is suspicious and thinks Irwin killed his wife.
