Down and Derby plot

A local youth soapbox race stirs the spirits of a small town. Some of the fathers of the participating youngsters see the race as an ideal opportunity to take down big rivals. Soon the youngsters no longer have any say in the design and construction of the vehicles and the fathers leave their work and family for what it is and focus completely on the race. They don't shy away from certain vicious ways to outsmart their opponent.
