Die 120 Tage von Bottrop plot
The venue is Europe's largest construction site, the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. The last survivors of the Fassbinder era have gathered here around producer Volker Spengler (himself). The goal: to make the very last Neue Deutsche Film in five days, a remake of Pasolini's illustrious Salo or the 120 days of Sodom. Even at an early stage, the project appears to be too ambitious. The producer has too many images in his head, the main theme of the film is hopelessly lost and the money is running out. The ghosts of the past seem to have crept into the project for good...
