Deutschmänner plot

Don (Carlo Ljubek) and Karl-Heinz (Matthias Koeberlin) are two students with a carefree life. There is one problem: Don is from Macedonia and has to return to his homeland immediately after graduating. They come up with a plan: a marriage of convenience should save him. All girlfriends are called off, but no one is willing to marry Don. There is only one solution: a (sham) gay marriage between the two closest friends. This is going well, until Inspector Katharina (Tanja Wedhorn) comes to take a look. And it is precisely this woman that Karl-Heinz falls madly in love with.
