Der Große Zusammenbruch plot

André, a bon vivant, spends a hot summer in Leipzig, surrounded by old electronic equipment and out of work. While his beloved neighborhood slowly disappears due to rent increases and gentrification, André clings to the past. When his ex-wife subsequently places their highly goal-oriented daughter Jana with him for the summer, worlds collide. Everything changes when André is asked to handle the sound for a specific conference, and father and daughter are confronted with the fact that the dubious conference organizer predicts nothing less than the impending collapse of the system.
