Das Schaffen Wir Schon plot
"We'll do it"; this statement, made in the context of the German Federal elections, turns out not to be very effective, when during a talk show some policymakers are suddenly confronted with this 'one-liner'. In fact, Angela Merkel, Cem Özdemir, Ursula von der Leyen, Sahra Wagenknecht and others have taken it upon themselves to draw the attention of the population in the Federal Republic to their views on issues such as pensions and immigration in a TV broadcast. But then an angry, unemployed woman storms into the studio and takes the politicians hostage to show her displeasure.
