Crésus plot

Jules, a humble shepherd from Haute-Provence, lives alone. Sometimes in the evening he leaves a lamp on in the window and then he is joined by Fine, a young widow. One day he finds a large sum of (counterfeit) money that disrupts his quiet life. His excessive charity arouses the suspicion of the police.
