Crash (Kevin Costner), a longtime baseball veteran, is brought to the Durham Bulls to bring this club out of the doldrums. Even more important, however, is his role as a trainer for the talented Nuke Laloosh. Nuke, however, turns out to warm up to Annie much faster than to play baseball and Annie has no problem with this. Crash, however, does not give up and also has a number of tricks up its sleeve.

Nice late 80s sports (in this case Baseball) based Comedy / Romance that looks away nicely. The story is well put together and the execution is good. This is mainly due to the impressive cast who do a great job, especially the three lead actors Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins. It's funny (also a compliment) that Susan Sarandon still looks almost the same today as before. Although the film is mainly intended as a comedy, there isn't really much to laugh about except for a few smile moments (especially by Tim Robbins). The atmosphere is also nice and airy.
They still broadcast this film today on the MGM channel.

Nice little thing, if you watch the film as a Dutchman, nice comedy with enough "sporty" moments to keep those enthusiasts on their toes. Personally I think Sarandon steals the show,
her acting makes me rate the film with a 3, otherwise it would certainly have been less. Bull is a film that you watch once every 2-3 years for the oh yes moments then the film remains fun.
