Boxcutter plot
Ambitious rapper Rome has the talent and vision to break into Toronto's hip-hop scene, but his crippling insecurity holds him back. When he hears that megastar producer Richie Hill will be performing at a local club, Rome jumps at the chance to meet him and give him his album. But then disaster strikes: Rome's apartment is broken into, and the only copy of his album is stolen. Rome and his girlfriend, Jenaya, race across the city to track down his album before the show starts and he misses his only chance.
