Blue in the Face plot

"Welcome to the planet Brooklyn."

For more than 20 years, Auggie's cigar business has been the hub of the New York borough of Brooklyn. Day after day, the eccentric residents of the neighborhood stop by Auggie's house to not only buy cigarettes, but also tell the most idiotic, bizarre and comical stories. In Auggie's shop, the most outrageous incidents occur, such as accidental robberies, rapping watch sellers and frustrated local residents. This inevitably leads to hilarious situations... Sequel to 'Smoke' from the same year.

What a great movie.

Funny and fun conversations everywhere, not too many interesting topics but mostly great characters.

3.5

I want to see more of this kind of movie, anyone have any recommendations?

Recently with a few of the same characters and the same film location, this film stands more on its own than it is a sequel to Smoke.

Blue in the face is all about dialogues and the fun improvisations of the actors.

Certainly not for everyone, but I certainly appreciate these kinds of videos

The best part is with Jim Jarmusch, about his last cigarette

3.5*

People who can appreciate this film should definitely check out Slacker.

Slightly less than Smoke, but again I appreciate the light-hearted conditions in combination with long shots and the natural acting. Everyone has been carefully cast again and there seems to be no camera present. It is striking that we only stay with the shop here and there are no real problems. It comes across as improvisation and there is no clear plot. It can be as simple as that, it works excellently and unfortunately you rarely see it.
