Lost in La Mancha plot
After years of problems with development, producers and money, in September 2000, the cameras started rolling for Terry Gilliam's latest film, a Don Quixote adaptation. Soon the production is plagued with bad luck: flooding, faulty equipment, NATO planes flying over, a sick protagonist: after six days of filming, the production is stopped. While Gilliam put the cameras back in the closet, those of the "making of" makers kept spinning...
