Fannie Field is an entertainer at a nightclub. Fannie befriends hapless boxer Jerry Moore. She discusses with Jerry his efforts to break through at an important game. However, heavyweight champion 'Mac' McCloskey provokes an argument, knocking Jerry out in the process. Fannie proposes to Jerry to appoint her as his manager and he starts training intensively.
