Autour de la Maison Rose plot

The war is over. Normal life resumes in the city. In an old popular quarter of Beyrouth there is an antique palace known as "the pink house". There, two refugee families found shelter during the war: the Nawfal and the Adaimi. Now the mangled buildings, riddled with shells, have to make way for new real estate projects. And so the palace will also have to be demolished. But this divides the local population into two camps. On the one hand, there are the merchants, proponents of economic development, and on the other, the families and their allies, who would rather see the old buildings renovated.
