Leanne Miller is a 36-year-old wife and mother whose hunger for fame and fortune leads down a dangerous path. Leanne is a former beauty queen living an unnoticed average lifestyle when she decides to take matters into her own hands by hatching a plan to turn her family into instant celebrities. Along with her ex-boyfriend, Billy, and his friend, Jebidiah, who has been convicted, Leanne decides to kidnap her 11-year-old daughter Patty for a month or two. All Leanne has to do is get the local press and the sheriff to focus on that case and not her. What could go wrong?
