Auguste plot

An impresario concocts a publicity stunt for an actress, in which she has to attempt suicide by drowning during the official opening of a luxury swimming pool, so that she can be saved by a Hollywood star present. In his place, a simple civil servant dives after her, who thus becomes the hero of the day in the press.
