Arugentin Babâ plot

After the death of Mitsuko's mother, her father suddenly disappears too. Six months later it turns out that he is staying at the house of Yuri, an eccentric woman nicknamed the Argentine witch. Enraged Mitsuko tries to persuade her father to return, but he refuses. Gradually she begins to get used to the situation and learns to appreciate Yuri's warm personality. She decides to leave her father where he is. Suddenly, Yuri collapses and turns out to be pregnant. Mitsuko decides to raise the child when Yuri dies after giving birth.
