Angst plot

"You never know when it will hit you."

A group of horror movie fans lives in Sydney, Australia. One of them is Dean. He is a cynical, sexually frustrated video store clerk struggling with unresolved heartbreak. Together with Ian and Jade, his roommates, he forms the group of cinephiles. Ian works at a sex bookstore and Jade is addicted to smoking marijuana. An activity she prefers to do while watching movies. When someone steals the trio's VCR, they spring into action.
