Albert - Mein Unsichtbarer Freund plot

Max Spielhagen (Dominic Raacke) has a happy life with his wife Anna (Patricia Schäfer) and son Daniel (Johann Hillmann). In addition, he runs the toy company Dream Factory, an old family business, with great enthusiasm. He tries every toy and always comes up with new, crazy ideas. However, after the sudden death of his wife, Max starts behaving strangely. He talks to Albert, a person only he can see. Siegbert (Dominique Horwitz), Max's older brother, decides to send him to a psychiatric hospital and take over the management of the company. Daniel has to move in with his aunt and uncle.
