Adopting St. Nick plot

Maren is a busy single mother with an adopted daughter, Leah. As the owner of her late father's beloved hardware store, Maren often helps repair all kinds of things for the people around her, leaving her with little time for herself. When the opportunity arises to participate in the Christmas Companions program, Leah seizes it with both hands.
