In the film, Edina and Patsy still do nothing but drink, shop and go out in the rich part of London. When blamed for an incident at a decadent party, they find themselves in the spotlight and continuously harassed by paparazzi. They flee to the Côte d'Azur and come up with a plan to resume their carefree lives as soon as possible.
