A Piece of Eden plot

The Tredici family, Italian for 13, first lived in Sicily but they had nothing but bad luck there. In America, however, they got a prized farm with many acres of land. One of the Tredici sons went to town to become a PR man, but business was not going very well. After an accident that left Father on fire, he returns to the farm to learn that he will not inherit anything from the farm. Seeing his last chance of success disappear, he leaves his job in New York and invests money from the farm in marketing. His brother is very indignant about this, because these urban manners only cost money and yield nothing.
