"CORLISS COULD DO NO WRONG ...but brother How She Tried!"
After a brief encounter with the romantic and thrice-divorced Kenneth Marquis, Corliss Archer writes in her journal that they are together to make her boyfriend Dexter jealous. When she and Dexter don't return home until five o'clock one night, she decides to feign amnesia to avoid punishment from her father. When her family reads her diary to help her refresh her memory, they find her account of Marquis. Marquis hates Corliss's father and plays the game to annoy him...
