The Fly Room plot
The year is 1927 when 10-year-old Betsey Bridges is forced to spend her day with her father Calvin in his laboratory called The Fly Room. There he will study fruit flies and will reveal the laws of heredity that will later form the basis of modern genetics. While Betsey and her father initially grow closer, she gradually discovers secrets about him that will change their relationship forever.
