Saving Lincoln plot

"The true story of an epic friendship"

The film tells the almost entirely true story of Abraham Lincoln and his self-proclaimed bodyguard, US Marshal Ward Hill Lamon. Lamon is a banjo-playing Southerner who foils several attempts to assassinate the president. Despite everything, Lincoln can continue to function through the darkest times of the Civil War.
