Biographical film about the life of Jenny Lind, the famous "Swedish nightingale". Jenny experiences a tumultuous relationship with a composer. He goes blind at the same time that Jenny begins to have vocal problems. Out of self-pity or a misplaced desire not to be a burden, he leaves her, but she will not give up her search for him.
