"Who is he? What is he?"
Scientist Jor-El is persecuted on his home planet Krypton for his unorthodox research methods. Jor-El fears for his life and sends his son Kal on a shuttle to Earth in the hope that a better future awaits him there. Adopted by a friendly farming couple, Kal grows up under the name Clark Kent to become a renowned journalist for the Daily Planet, Metropolis' largest newspaper. But what nobody knows is that Clark actually leads a double life and is better known as Superman, savior of those in need.
