Smijuljica plot

The witch's house is in the middle of the forest. She sleeps during the day and wakes up at night. As soon as it gets dark, the witch clears her throat and starts laughing very loudly. For hours her cluck sounds through the forest, hares and foxes come surprised at the sound. What is that witch up to?
