When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets more action than he bargained for. A mistake with the Boer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City. It's now up to Shaun and the herd to get everyone back home safely.

To break the daily grind, Shaun and his friends put the farmer to sleep. However, the result is anarchy on the farm and when the farmer ends up in hospital, Shaun and Bitzer the dog team up in an attempt to free him so he can restore order to their beloved Mossy Bottom Farm. A simple story, but full of imaginative twists and with some hilarious sequences. The sheep's visit to a restaurant is a highlight, as is the scene where Blitzer is mistaken for a surgeon. This is a smooth, often very funny animation film that is easy to follow for all ages and is therefore absolutely an ideal family film.

Ever since Shaun fell sheep off a truck in the Oscar-winning "Wallace & Gromit" movie [url=https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112691/]"A Close Shave (1995)"[/ url], he got his own television series from 2007.
In this approximately 80-minute first cinema-worthy Animation/Adventure film, Shaun the sheep travels through fate with the rest of the flock to the big bad city, leaving it up to Shaun and the flock to get everyone back home safely.
The road to the city is already delightfully inventive and full of small and big jokes and there are only more in the city. The story is adventurous and dotted with funny winks, funny looks and small gestures that make this fun film a great viewing experience.
All in all, indeed a nice, entertaining and funny Animation / Adventure film (with clay animations elaborated to the last detail) for young and old. The film is very accessible for the little ones due to the absence of dialogues and for adults it is very doable due to the many references to well-known films. And for everyone in between, the short duration eases the suffering.

Watched this animated movie and thought it was an entertaining movie. Despite the fact that it is not spoken, it can still be captivating from start to finish. The story is also fairly simple, but the nice mix of humor and story has made it an entertaining film.
A fun movie for young and old.
