"A power unbound. A battle of legends."

When Ash, Pikachu and their friends visit a desert city by the sea, they meet the mythical Pokémon Hoopa, who has the ability to summon things (including humans and Pokémon) through her magic ring. After an incident, they are told a story about a brave hero who caught a scary Pokémon that destroyed everything. This Pokémon was locked in a bottle, but has now been released. Ash must help his new friend Hoopa end this dark period.
