Phantom Boy plot
"My name is Leo and I have a secret"
11-year-old Leo from New York is a Phantom Boy: he can become invisible and fly through walls. He befriends Alex, a police officer who is in a wheelchair. Alex was injured by a mysterious bandit who threatens the city with a dangerous computer virus. Together they form an extraordinary super duo, with Leo in the air and Alex on the ground. They take care of Marie, a courageous journalist who goes in search of the villain, and whom Alex has a crush on.

Not very original, but thanks to the beautiful drawing style (colorful, delightfully lopsided; Picasso meets Expressionism) and the warm way the story is told, it is once again a very amiable animated film, just like Une Vie de Chat. And what a beautiful soundtrack.

I gave this one a try and thought it was a pretty good movie. A reasonably original story with an original execution, and the animated film looked pretty good too.
The playing time was also good, not too long and not too short.
I thought it was worth watching.

It's a shame that this story, this film, has received so little attention, because it is quite worthwhile.
It is very sweet and childlike but very beautifully and uniquely drawn, and sometimes it is told in a very Belgian style, but it is just an incredibly fun and sweet story that never gets boring for a moment... Nice music too, by the way. I saw it on Cinemember
