Nami suddenly falls ill in the middle of the sea and has a high fever. The Straw Hat pirates must find a doctor as quickly as possible and dock on Winter Island. Although the population initially does not want to know anything about pirates, they help the pirates anyway. However, the island's doctor lives far away from the village on a high boulder and the road to it is rough and fraught with danger. Once there, the doctor turns out to have an interesting assistant: the human deer Chopper.
