"Perhaps man is a creature that must fight until the last one is dead."
Thousands of years in the future, humanity is scattered across hundreds of planets. The human universe is split into two camps: the Galactic Empire, which has an autocratic semi-feudal community based on 18th-century Prussia, and the Free Planets Alliance, founded by dissidents from the Empire. The two camps have been battling incompetent leaders on both sides for over 150 years. The film tells the story of two new brilliant young leaders, Admiral Reinhard von Müsel in the 'Empire' and Commodore Yang Wen-Li in the 'Alliance'. Both have the leadership and tactical brains to make fun of their incompetent superiors. The course of war and the future of humanity will change forever.
