For two hundred years, the Elfkins have lived underground, far away from the grown-up world. Until one day the cheerful Elfkin girl Helvi needs more space around her. Together with her friends, the Elfkin boys Kipp and Butz, she travels to the above-ground world where she searches for her unique Elfkin talent among the grown-ups and experiences great adventures. After befriending gruff pastry chef Theo, she and the other Elfkins learn an important lesson: there's nothing better than helping others wherever you can.

In het begin had ik wel iets van oei, de film ziet er niet zo fris uit, maar gelukkig herpakte de film zich wel. Het verhaal vond ik wel goed. Een mooie boodschap. Verder verveelde de film niet. Ik vreesde dat het kinderachtig ging zijn, maar dit viel reuze mee. Visueel dus in het begin wat minder, maar voor de rest een prima film. Was toch wel aangenaam verrast.

In the beginning I was like oh, the film doesn't look that fresh, but luckily the film recovered. I liked the story. A beautiful message. Furthermore, the film was not boring.

I was afraid it was going to be childish, but this wasn't too bad.

Visually a bit less in the beginning, but otherwise a great film. Was pleasantly surprised though.
