Bangaku Shôjo plot
Konoha Inoue wrote his first novel at the age of fourteen under the female pseudonym Miu Inoue and was unexpectedly successful. Konoha could not cope with the sudden success and collapsed emotionally. At school, he joins the Seijou Academy literature club, where he meets Toko Amano, its president and only other member. Toko Amano is actually a yokai (mythical creature) that lives on written stories as if it were food. To feed Toko, Konoha Inoue now has to make up stories for her every day.
