Good heavens, I just found out that James Stewart is casting a vote on this. The only reason to see this childhood sentimental cartoon again

Disappointing sequel to An American Tail by Don Bluth, who is not at the helm this time. His Disney style can be found in the already existing characters, but in terms of elaboration + jokes, the influence of 'old cartoons' is very present. Most of the songs are also terrible. You would almost think that this sequel is 10 years older than its predecessor.

Fortunately, there is a lot to enjoy with the many references to classic films, especially westerns, yes, including those with James Stewart, whose voice (and last film role) can be interpreted as a tribute.

John Cleese is also the only voice role with above-average quality.
