"You Will Never See Anything Finer On The Screen!"
While waiting for his girlfriend Stella in a wine cellar, the poet Hoffmann becomes captivated by melancholy memories of the three great loves in his life: the doll Olympia, the courtesan Giulietta and the penniless Antonia. At the end of his stories, which captivate visitors to the wine cellar, Hoffmann is drunk and exhausted. Stella, who showed up late for the appointment, draws her conclusions and leaves the drinking establishment with Hoffmann's rival.
