The Scarlet Spear plot
Deep in the African jungle, Commissioner Jim T. Barneson tries to convince the newly crowned chief of the Masai tribe, Morasi, to forgo an ancient ritual. With this ritual, Morasi can prove himself a worthy ruler by killing a rival tribesman and earning a scarlet spear. Jim follows Morasi into enemy territory. He is present during his test and helps Morasi in the fight against the enemy tribe.
