The Leather Pushers plot
"The Champion Action-Comedy of the Year!"
A fight breaks out in a gym and Dick, wrestler Andy Grogan's trainer, packs a punch. Slick, a boxing promoter, watches the whole thing and advises Dick to give competitive boxing a try. Slick then arranges for Dick's fights to be manipulated to ensure the win. The whole thing attracts the attention of Pat, a female sports reporter, who publishes under a male pseudonym.
