The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
A small town is shaken when the notorious Herdman children take part in the annual Christmas pageant. What starts as chaos turns into a surprisingly moving experience that gives everyone a new perspective on the spirit of Christmas.
What a wonderful feel-good Christmas film this was! The humour was good and kept you smiling from start to finish, while the heartwarming story was beautifully told. The modern approach to Christmas themes gave it a fresh and contemporary feel, which was a nice addition on the classic story.
Special thanks to the children: they all played their roles convincingly and conveyed both comedy and emotion in a way that made an impression. It is not often that young actors play such an important role in conveying the magic of a film.
The film has everything you could want from a Christmas film: warmth, humor, and a message that sticks with you. Although Santa Claus may have been missing, it felt like he was there in spirit. This is a story that will make you smile , touches your heart and fits perfectly with the cozy Christmas atmosphere.
It's not quite Home Alone level for me, but it's an absolute must-see for the whole family!
